A feedback widget for your site, free on every plan

Paste one script tag, and visitors can tell you what is broken or what they miss from any page. Each message arrives in your Ext Ops Panel project with its topic and page, next to the rest of your feedback.

The round button in the corner of this page is the widget

We installed it on our own site exactly as you would on yours. Open it, pick a topic and write. What you send reaches the Ext Ops Panel team, so feel free to tell us something real.

The example card shows how a message looks in the panel. Its values are an example.

How to connect

From an empty project to the first message

The widget belongs to a project, so it works the same on a landing page, in a web app or in the dashboard of your service.

01

Create the widget

In the project settings choose up to eight topics, one of six colour presets and the sites allowed to use it.

›
02

Paste the script tag

Copy the tag with your widget key from the panel and put it on every page. The key is public on purpose: it can only create a message.

›
03

Read and answer

Messages appear on the Feedback tab of the project, with a notice in the panel inbox. Mark them read or spam.

Free and paid

What every plan gets, and what the feedback CRM adds

Collecting messages is free. Talking to people as people, with history and replies, is part of the paid plans.

Common questions

Before you paste the script

Short answers about cost, security policy and the data you collect.

Read the feedback contract
Is the feedback widget free?

Yes, on every plan, and no plan limits the number of messages. Anti-spam limits still apply: 60 messages an hour per widget and 10 an hour from one visitor address.

Will it work with my Content Security Policy?

Yes. It is one deferred script without inline code, and its styles live inside a shadow root. Allow https://extops.dev in script-src and connect-src.

Can I use my own form instead of the widget?

Yes. Your form can post to the same endpoint the widget uses, so the messages arrive in the same place. The feedback contract describes the request.

Can I reply to the people who write?

On the Indie, Studio and Fleet plans. You reply from the panel, and a signed-in visitor whose identity your server signs reads the reply in the widget. We never send e-mail.

What do you store about the person who writes?

The topic, the text, the page without its query string, the language, the time and a contact only if your widget asks for one. Not the IP address and not the country of a single message.

Your next step

Create a widget for your project

Open the panel, create a project for your site and add a widget in its settings. The tag is ready to copy right away.
